In my opinion, "winning is not the most important thing, it's everything" by Vince Lorbard means that
"success is not the most important thing, it's everything." It's not always
true. In something like "The Admiral" by Coreen Glynn, is not true.
The reasons for my disagreement
are classified three ways. First is Jimmy who is the main character in
the story. He is poor. He wore the same clothes everyday. He is not successful,
but he had a lot of friends during his life. Everyone likes to talk with
him. Finally, he died. A lot of friends went to his funeral. Thus, the
critical lens isn't true. He is successful. He loved his life, even though
he was poor. Many people respect him. Jimmy's life was full of love, filled
with friendship. It's not everything, but respect is a part of life.
